Praha, day 2

Si algun dia tendras chance de viajar a la Republica Checa, te lo recomendia mucho! Es un pais muy bonito, verde, y con mucha cultura. Ayer tubimos chance de ir al festival de cerveza del pais en Praga. Fue muy padre pasar un tiempo con la gente local de todos lados del pais. habia musica, y por supuesto, mucha gente borracha! Despues de pasar unas horas combiendo y disfruntando unas cervezas, regresamos a nuestro hotel. esta situado en el centro viejo de Praga.

Praga es una de las cuidades grandes de Europa que esta casi completamente preservada. Llegamos a Praga de Berlin, y ahi es una historia comletamente diferente que la de Praga. Las atrocidades de la guerra han afectado a Praga diferente que las otras cuidades. Hoy pasamos toda la manana y la tarde pasiando la cuidad. Vimos los barrios viejos, nuevos, judios, etc. Tambien subimos el cerro donde sienta el castillo gotico mas viejo de todo el mundo. subes el cerro y puedes ver toda la cuidad. La cuidad es increible, una belleza de Europa que no debes perder! Ojala tendre tiempo de subir las fotos que tome hoy. Manana regresamos a Alemania...a Munich.

I am so glad that we made the trip out to the Czech Republic to see this amazing city! It really is a magnificent city, with so much culture and beauty, it's hard for me to say that it isn't my favorite city thus far of the trip. Prague is different than other European cities...it has been spared the ravaging of both world wars. Most of the city is preserved and its character draws in anybody that visits. Everything from the good beer, to the oldest gothic castle in the world, makes Prague a must see in Europe!

We got the chance to go to a beer festival yesterday, and to spend some time walking around the city at night...when everything was nicely lit with old gas lanterns in the old town. Today we went on a guided tour that last about 4 hours. It was awesome to be able to see the sights, but at the same time have a very interesting history lesson on Prague's past, and the significance of the sights that we were seeing. One of the most powerful places that we visited was the old Jewish Quarter. The history behind this part of the city is extensive, and somewhat darkened by the horrors of WWII. The old jewish cemetery does not cover much land at all...but there are 40000 souls burried there. Prague is definitely worth anyones time to see..

Tomorrow we're off to Munich!

Hi Benji,
So Praga is the winner so far, I can't imagine seen so much history and beauty in just one trip... It is amazing, and something you should be grateful to God for it. I think once you get to Italy and Spain Prage will become a distant 3d or 4th place .... so, imagina what else you have comming....
Here at home, after 14 days with no rain, we got buckets of rain comming down!!! I am in Flora, Il going to Princeton tomorrow, so I miss the rain... but I hope my wheat at home is still standing... we'll see.

Jjajaja sorry no habia visto las fotos, jajaja, muy buenas fotos mas donde no le entienden para donde van jejeje, cuidense mucho haber si ya cuando estes en tu casa me puedes mndar algunas fotos por ke las agarro de ahi y llegan bien chikitas, ok.

Ben de verdad ke es muy padre lo ke te esta pasando por ke vas a conocer muchas cuidades, su cultura, su historia, ke padre!!! Ojala ayas probado muchas cervezas en honor a nosotros los ke estamos por estos rumbos, y ahora ke vallas a alemania por favor comte un chocolate bueno no uno varios a mi salud jajajja, al fin y al cabo no vas a engordar jejeje, bueno cuidte mucho y no te apures por las fotos ahorita ya tendras chance de subirlas pero luego no se te valla a olvidar heee!!
Cuidate y ya sabes aki estamos siguiendote!!
